1.2 Choose a day when the ambient temperature is above 5 degrees. Avoid construction during rainy and humid conditions, as these can significantly prolong bonding time or even result in adhesion failure.
2. The specific construction process:
2.1 Glue Application: Utilize a glue applicator to achieve a uniform coating thickness. Avoid applying glue repeatedly to prevent bubbling or detachment. Ensure that both surfaces to be bonded receive a consistent layer of adhesive, maintaining a steady application speed for optimal results.
2.2 Viscosity Management: Adjust the drying time based on prevailing temperature, humidity, and air pressure. Typically, allow 10 to 30 minutes for gelatinization, until 80-90% of the glue becomes non-tacky. During bonding, align accurately in one attempt to avoid repositioning.
2.3 Pressure Application: Once bonded, clear any debris from the surface and employ a special rubber hammer to press from the bonded area outward. This ensures complete contact and enhances the durability of the bond.
2.4 Curing: The standard curing period is three days, with full strength achieved in ten days. During this time, maintain the area by avoiding exposure to elements like sunlight and water, and refrain from moving the turf to ensure perfect adhesion.
2.5 Note: Do not apply quartz sand or rubber particles after adhesion is complete.
