1.2 Choose an ambient temperature above 5°C for construction. Avoid rainy or mildew-prone weather conditions, as they can prolong bonding time or even prevent proper adhesion.
2. The Specific Construction Process:
2.1 Glue Application: Employ a glue applicator to achieve a uniformly thick coating. Refrain from reapplying glue on the same surface to prevent bubbling or detachment. Use the applicator precisely on the bottom cloth, strictly maintaining glue thickness and applying at a consistent speed on both surfaces to be bonded.
2.2 Viscosity Control: Adjust drying time according to temperature, humidity, and air pressure. Typically, after 10 to 30 minutes for gelatinization, the glue reaches about 80-90% dryness and is tack-free. Ensure precise alignment of adhesive surfaces on the first attempt, avoiding repositioning post-bonding.
2.3 Bonding Pressure: Post-adhesion, clear any surface debris and use a specialized rubber hammer to press firmly from the bonding point outward, ensuring a secure and compact bond.
2.4 Curing: Allow three days for initial curing and approximately ten days for full strength. During this period, protect against sunlight, moisture, and movement to optimize adhesion.
2.5 Avoid bonding quartz sand and rubber particles immediately after adhesion to ensure a pristine finish.
