1.Construction instructions for turf adhesion
1.1 To ensure a flawless bond, thoroughly clean and dry both the turf base and the interface cloth. Ensure the surface is completely free of moisture.
1.2 Select an ambient temperature above 5°C for optimal bonding conditions. Avoid rainy or humid weather to prevent prolonged bonding times or bonding failure.
2. The specific construction process:
2.1. Glue Application: Utilize a glue applicator to evenly coat the surface with glue, avoiding multiple applications which can cause bubbling or detachment. Apply a consistent thickness on both surfaces to be bonded, and maintain an appropriate speed during application.
2.2. Viscosity: Adjust the drying time considering factors like temperature, humidity, and air pressure. After 10 to 30 minutes of gelatinization, the glue should be 80-90% dry, with a non-sticky touch. During bonding, ensure accurate initial alignment of the adhesive, as repositioning is not allowed.
2.3 Pressure: Post-bonding, clear any debris and use a specialized rubber hammer to apply pressure from the bonding site outward, ensuring compact contact and a secure bond.
2.4 Curing: The standard curing period is three days, with full strength achieved in ten days. Protect the adhesive from exposure, water, and movement during curing to ensure optimal adhesion.
2.5 Ensure no quartz sand or rubber particles are introduced after bonding.
