1.2 Select an ambient temperature above 5°C for the construction. Avoid proceeding under rainy or mold-inducing weather conditions to prevent extended bonding times or adhesion failures.
2. The comprehensive construction process includes:
2.1 Glue Application: Utilize a glue applicator to uniformly apply the adhesive. Reapplication is discouraged to prevent bubbling or detachment. Ensure meticulous control of glue thickness on the base cloth, maintaining a consistent application speed across both surfaces to be joined.
2.2 Viscosity Control: Adjust according to temperature, humidity, and air pressure conditions to ensure optimal drying. Typically, post-gelatinization, the adhesive reaches 80-90% dryness within 10 to 30 minutes, with a non-tacky touch. Achieve precise alignment during bonding as repositioning is not advisable.
2.3 Pressure Application: Post-bonding, discard surface debris and employ a specialized rubber hammer to compress the surface from the bonding point outward, ensuring full contact and robust adhesion.
2.4 Curing: Typically achieves full cure in three days, with ultimate strength around ten days. During curing, ensure protection from elements such as exposure, flooding, and shifting to attain peak adhesion.
2.5 Post-bonding, refrain from adding quartz sand or rubber particles to the bonded turf.
