1.2 Choose ambient temperatures above 5°C for construction, avoiding rainy or mildew-prone weather, as such conditions can excessively prolong bonding time or even prevent adhesion altogether.
2. The Detailed Construction Process:
2.1. Glue Application: Use a glue applicator to ensure a uniform coating thickness on the surface, avoiding repetitive application to prevent bubbling or detachment. Glue applicators are essential for the bottom cloth, with strict control of glue thickness and speed on both bonding surfaces.
2.2. Viscosity Management: Adjust drying time based on temperature, humidity, and air pressure conditions. Typically, allow 10 to 30 minutes for gelatinization, achieving a near-dry, non-sticky touch. Ensure a precise one-time adhesive alignment, avoiding repositioning after initial bonding.
2.3 Pressure Application: Post-bonding, clear surface debris, and use a special rubber hammer to tap from the bonded center outwards. This guarantees firm, complete surface contact and strengthens the bond.
2.4 Curing Process: Normal curing spans three days, with final strength achieved in ten days. During this time, maintain conditions by preventing exposure, water, or movement to reach peak adhesion.
2.5 No quartz sand or rubber particles should be added during or immediately after the bonding process.
