1.Construction instructions for turf adhesion
1.1 Ensure that the bottom of the turf and the interface cloth to be bonded are thoroughly cleaned and free of moisture. The surface must be dry to guarantee optimal adhesion.
1.2 Choose an ambient temperature above 5°C for installation. Avoid carrying out construction during rainy or damp conditions, as this can prolong bonding time or lead to ineffective adhesion.
2. Detailed Construction Process:
2.1 Glue Application: Utilize a glue applicator to evenly coat the surface with a uniform thickness of glue. Avoid multiple applications to prevent bubbling or detachment. The bottom cloth should also be uniformly coated, with careful attention to the speed of application, ensuring both surfaces to be bonded receive glue.
2.2 Viscosity Timing: Adjust the drying time based on current temperature, humidity, and air pressure. Ideally, wait for 10 to 30 minutes after applying the glue until it is about 80-90% dry and no longer sticky to touch. Ensure precise alignment during bonding as repositioning is not advised.
2.3 Pressure Application: Post-bonding, clear any debris from the surface. Utilize a specialized rubber hammer to press from the center of the bond outward, ensuring a firm and comprehensive adhesion across the surface.
2.4 Curing Time: Allow the adhesion to cure over three days, reaching full strength in about ten days. During this period, protect the surface from exposure, moisture, and movement to achieve the best adhesion quality.
2.5 Note that no quartz sand or rubber particles should be applied after the bonding process.
