1.2 Choose a time when the ambient temperature is above 5°C. It's crucial to avoid initiating construction during rainy or mold-prone weather as these conditions can significantly delay bonding or even prevent adhesion altogether.
2. The specific construction process:
2.1. Glue: Use a glue applicator to achieve a uniform layer of coating. Avoid reapplying glue on the same spot, which can lead to bubbling or detachment over time. The bottom cloth also requires a precise application of glue; manage the thickness meticulously and adjust the speed appropriately. Ensure glue is applied to both surfaces to be bonded.
2.2. Viscosity: Adapt the drying time based on prevailing conditions such as temperature, humidity, and air pressure. Typically, after 10 to 30 minutes, the glue reaches an optimal state of dryness where it's tack-free yet ready for bonding. During this stage, align the adhesive in one smooth motion without repositioning, ensuring a strong initial bond.
2.3 Pressure: Post-bonding, clear any debris before using a specialized rubber hammer to evenly press from the bonding point outwards, ensuring a snug and secure adherence for long-lasting durability.
2.4 Curing: Allow a curing period of approximately three days, with full adhesion strength achieved in ten days. During this time, protect the area from exposure, water saturation, and disruption to ensure the bond reaches its peak strength.
2.5. Post-bonding, avoid the placement of quartz sand and rubber particles onto bonded surfaces.
